FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF OAK PARK
AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY FOR ALL
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path."
- Psalm 119:105
The doors to the church are open!
Please join us for Sunday service 10:00 AM. We are following social distancing protocols as we worship.
We invite you to come and see our beautfiul windows and listen to the magnificent organ and to worship together.
YOU ARE WELCOME HERE!
In person service has resumed though we will continue to postpone our Fellowship Time following service.
For families with young children, we have family tables set up in the chapel. You will be able to enjoy the service and the kids can enjoy coloring pages and other activities. You may, of course, worship in the sanctuary.
We do ask that you enter the sanctuary masked. If you are fully vaccinated, they may be removed once you are seated as we are following distancing protocols. We still do not have congregational singing.
Sanitizer is available at the church entrances - Oak Park Ave and the Tower entrance from Oak Park. Registration forms are located on the welcome table. We ask for them to be filled out to assist in contact tracing. Bulletins are also located on the table. You may take them with you when you exit or place them in one of the bins.
As we have more information and as our process evolves, we will have updates here.
You may view our worship service online. Click the link above.

Giving to others is a life-giving practice.
Giving to the church supports all that we do: our ministries with the community, our ministries with children, youth and adults, the worship service, maintaining our beautiful building, and efforts to reach out to our new neighbors. If you wish to support all of that, please give to our General Fund.
If you wish to give specifically to missions, please include a note in for your donation's designation. We support a missionary overseas, as well as a variety of ministries in our community.
