To say the recent decision voting in favor of the Traditional Plan over the One Church had an impact, is something of an understatement. It brought into the sunlight, feelings and issues the church touched on but never really had to come to grips with. Karen Oliveto was the first openly gay bishop appointed in the church and was a unanimous choice. In this interview with Colorado Public Radio producer, Anthony Cotton, she reacts to the decision and what it may mean for the United Methodist Church.
